My current body of work explores the facilitation of connection through third spaces, mundane moments, and both private and public memory. I primarily work in oil paint on masonite panels.
This portfolio explored how love evolves throughout a person's life. Through my investigation, I explored concepts such as familial love as well as Agape, or universal love. I expressed these findings through juxtaposing common motifs and phrases associated with love with different ideas.
Although my process is highly intuitive, my creative practice centers around a combination of technical studies and provisional iterations. Using various mediums, from charcoal to watercolor, I explore myriad tropes, narratives, memories, and processes that inform my larger practice.
